He joined an elite group of only 26 previous winners of the coveted Sooner Trailer Superhorse award. REAL GUN earned the reserve world championship in senior working cow horse, placed third in senior heeling and was fifth in senior calf roping. He was ridden by AQHA Professional Horseman and Stuart Ranch Horse Division Manager Chris Littlefield. Owned by the R T Stuart Ranch LLC located in Waurika, Oklahoma, REAL GUN took home third last year in the Superhorse competition, but came back this year to win the closest race in World Show history. The Stuart Ranch was designated as an Oklahoma Centennial Ranch and was awarded the Bayer/AQHA Best Remuda Award in 1995. The ranch has produced numerous world champions and the 1995 Superhorse, Genuine Redbud. For the 15th consecutive year, Sooner Trailer Manufacturing presented a trailer to the AQHA World Championship Show Superhorse. Stuart Ranch manger Terry Stuart Forst was presented a three-horse Sooner Legacy gooseneck trailer valued at more than $25,000 and an original Lisa Perry bronze. |
